Apple Watch
Q: Will this feature work with the first gen Apple Watch, running watchOS 3.0, on a 2011 MacBook Pro running OS Sierra?
I am trying to set up this feature and followed the instructions as per the post in the community but haven't had any luck. I'm guessing my 2011 MacBook Pro is too old for this feature . I don't see the option in the "Security & Privacy" section in System Preferences "Allow your Apple Watch to unlock your Mac." See screenshot below.

You will need a mid 2013 Mac with Sierra to be able to unlock your Mac with the Apple Watch.
