Q: new iPhone 7 w/iOS 10.0.2 - app store search shows no results

Featured, Categories & Top Charts show apps but if i search for anything (for sake of an example lets take "Google" since there are a plethora of apps out there by Google) then it returns no results. Additionally the "Updates->Purchased" list is incomplete so I can't even install all the apps I had on my iPhone 6.

Anyone else had similar issues? if so how was it resolved? or is it an Apple iOS 10 bug?

iPhone 7, iOS 10.0.2, null

Found a solution. It's the App Store cache that was knackered. I found a reference somewhere on the Internet that said tap the menu at the bottom of the app store 10 or more times in quick succession (to clear the cache), then force quit and restart the app store.

This fixed my problem, I can now search and download apps again.

I'm having this same problem - had it with 10.0.1 and updated to 10.0.2 -- same thing. App store shows 68 apps to update, and it just sits there. Tried the "10 taps" trick - no change. Tried stopping all updates, then just picking one app - any app - same issue.

UPDATE - after the 4th attempt, finally got it to "unstick" and now seems to be working

Update 2 ... nope, still stuck. Multiple resets, multiple cache-clears, turned off auto update, sign out-sign in to iTunes store. Pretty much every trick and can't even get a tiny 14Mb BBC News update to work.
