Q: Custom Speed Is Not Working/Appearing

Hi,

I am using FCP 10.2.2. I think I accidentally pressed a wrong key because this was never an issue for me in the past.

When I change the speed (ex. change it from 100% to 200%), the "size"/length/duration of the clip on the timeline does not change. In fact, when I double the speed, to compensate for the same "size"/length/duration on the timeline, FCP inserts more footage from my original clip (ex. I use 20 seconds of a 1 minute clip, I try to double the speed so it's 10 seconds long but FCP just takes more footage from the 1 minute clip so the clip remains 20 seconds long)

This is what I mean:

AFTER

In the past when I doubled the speed the length of the clip would be cut in half, which would be reflected in the total duration of the entire project.

Please help
