Q: iTunes still doesn't recognize my iPhone

After following ALL the detailed instructions, iTunes still doesn't recognize my iPhone 5s.  I am running the most current versions of iTunes and iOS. I've installed the device through Device Manager (which now shows no errors, thank you for that). My Computer recognizes my iPhone (always has), but iTunes doesn't. Help!!

iPhone 5s, iOS 10.0.2

Follow the instructions. Update the driver associated with Apple iPhone currently shown under Portable Devices.

If you explicitly chose the usbaapl64.inf file then that ought to have done the trick. The next option is to try the "for older video cards" release.
