Hi! Have you tried another pair of headphones?

Have you checked the where the music is being outputted? On the music app at the bottom of the screen with a song playing there is a icon that looks like a pyramid with radio waves coming from it. If you click on it will show you your available output options. With your headphones in this should be checked. If it isn't select it and then you should be hearing music from your earpods. If it is already checked I would recommend doing a hard restart. Hold down the home button and the power button until you see an Apple logo appear.
