    Do you have an iPad?

When a device go through a major update like form iOS 9 to 10 you have to resign into iCloud and that will trigger the message going to all devices that use the same Apple/iCloud ID.

If you do not have an iPad that was recently updated then it appears that someone knows the PW for your iCloud ID. If that is the case change the PW for your iCloud/Apple ID

There also is a chance that if this 'pop-up' was in a browser window, while

you were viewing random content, it may be part of a random phishing

expedition. Sometimes fake notions and warning screens can be engineered

to get you to provide useful personal information, to a scammer. Watch out.

Beware of 'fake apple id support pop-ups' and other fraud online.

They could be trying to get your password to everything Apple.

Since online details can be detected by official and non-official technical

experts, they can tell what device and system software version you're

using, so it's nothing for their automated scam or phishing ware to set a

pop-up trap to see who takes the bait. And generally Apple won't ask for

your info a random pop-up, whilst you are viewing other content online.

    In any event...

    Good luck in this matter!
