firefox

I am continually having problems with firefox as it relates to not being able to open a new web browser window. I either get the spinning circle...or i get an error message asking me what i want to do about a script concerning opening a new window...In the past i never encountered such an issue....Its only within the past few months has this started to occur......Does anyone have any understanding of whats causing this and how to remedy it ?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), OS....10.11.5 El Capitan iMac 27".

It could be 3rd party additions interfering with your network connections, or the overall performance of your system.

It could be a failing disk drive slowing down the performance of your system.

It could be a new internet plug-in/extension affecting Firefox (NOTE: I am a Firefox user, and I do like a few Firefox plug-ins 🙂 ). Firefox -> Tools -> Add-ons

Could you post the output from EtreCheck, which will list 3rd party additions
