Q: IPhone 7 home button URGENTLY needs fixing
Has anyone else noticed that the home button on the iPhone 7 actually takes MORE pressure (i.e., more grams of force), making it more difficult to press than on the iPhone 6? I realize that it's haptic, but it is clearly not calibrated well. Ever since the iPhone 3G, the home button has only required a very light press to activate. This was always one of the advantages of the iPhone compared to the blackberry and other devices with harder to click mechanical buttons. A lighter touch means less wear and tear on a user's fingers throughout the day.
Because the button is haptic, I'm guessing that Apple could adjust this using software in a future update for iOS. If anyone reading this can forward to the Apple product people, please do. Tell them to update iOS so that FEWER grams of force will activate the home button. I talked with a sales guy in an Apple Store today, and he said that tons of customers are complaining that the home button takes too much force to press.
