Q: Windows 10 Boot Camp: Disk Image not showing up

I recently tried to install Windows 10 on my MacBook Pro Retina (Early 2015) running macOS 10.12. I downloaded the iso file directly from Microsoft's website, and used Boot Camp Assistant with that iso file to partition the disk. However, when my computer restarted, and I entered my product key into Windows, on the screen where you would normally select the startup disk, there were no options available.

I think this is also worth noting: I attempted to create a Windows 10 VM using VMWare and that same iso file, and I ran into the same problem where there is no disk image available when I am prompted to select one. When I attempted to run a VM from Windows 8.1, it worked just fine.

So is this a problem with the iso file from Microsoft? Or is this a bug with my software? The fact that this doesn't work in VMWare leads me to think it's a problem with the iso.

It is a problem with the ISO file. Try to download it using a wired network connection. Can you post the name of the ISO file and it's MD5Sum?

Just downloaded it again over wired. The file name is Win10_1607_English_x64.iso and the MD5Sum is 88b98698600511dcd69596df92b242e5.

The MD5sum matches with what I have.

    ls -lgh Win10_1607_English_x64.iso

    -rw-r--r--@ 1 staff   4.1G Jul 17 17:28 Win10_1607_English_x64.iso

    openssl md5 Win10_1607_English_x64.iso

    MD5(Win10_1607_English_x64.iso)= 88b98698600511dcd69596df92b242e5

Can you try to re-create the Windows Installer using BC Assistant and try to install W10?

I used Boot Camp Assistant again to start up the Windows 10 installer, but the same problem happened again. This is the screen I see. After clicking okay, my computer restarts back in macOS. There is a BOOTCAMP disk on my desktop, but it is empty.

Are you using a USB Installer? Can you run SMC and NVRAM Reset and use the same installer, instead of recreating it?

Can you also post a file listing of your Installer file structure? It should be similar to
