Q: Error loading operating system

Basically, I had to follow a guide by Loner T to get Windows 10 Bootcamp to boot again because I got that same "no boot disc" error after trying to create another partition of 63GB titled "Other". Well, that solution got my bootcamp partition to boot again, but I then booted into Windows to add the new partition I created to extend my bootcamp partition (using Mini Tool Partition Wizard). For some reason, though, I had to only extend the bootcamp partition using 62GB out of the 63GB because for some reason it was telling me I couldn't use it all due to some overlapping error. I booted back into OS X, and then I installed Paragon NTFS for Mac that came with this new Seagate 2TB external hard drive that I got, and restarted the computer (without doing anything with Paragon...I didn't even erase or partition anything with my external hard drive). Before the reboot though, I'm not sure if I saw that my Bootcamp partition was still there, but after the reboot I opened Disk Utility and my bootcamp partition was missing. I see the new partition that I made earlier (63GB), though, but it shows empty. If I restart my Macbook while holding Option key, my Windows partition is still there but it's not bootable and tells me "error loading operating system." But for some reason bootcamp is not in Disc Utility or in startup disks either...any idea how to fix this?

    You have two separate issues.

    1. Your MBR was rebuilt using GPT entries 3 4 5. To MPT, this MBR appears with 'Other' as an HFS+ disk, which it cannot manipulate. It can however use FAT/exFAT. I would not recommend it. Instead, I suggest using this method. It requires converting 'Other' to Free Space instead of HFS+. MPT cannot distinguish between a MBR disk and a GPT disk with a Hybrid MBR. It only manipulates the disk (incorrectly) as MBR, which causes GPT issues. If you choose the GParted method, you will need to rebuild the MBR again using 2 3 4, because free space has not disk slice. If you want to convert 'Other' to Free Space, please run the following command only once (otherwise you will lose data),

    diskutil eraseVolume free free disk0s4

This returns an error because diskutil expects a disk to reappear, but free space has not disk slice.

    2. Paragon NTFS driver interferes with Apple NTFS driver. Apple will not allow partitions that it does not control to appear in Startup Disk. Please see https://kb.paragon-software.com/article/204 as the Paragon explanation. I suggest removing Paragon NTFS. It is used by Seagate to hide the fact that it's drives are shipped as NTFS and cannot be written by default. To reduce customer calls, they have chosen to provide a read-write Paragon, instead of asking customers to reformat the disk to GPT. This also has the benefit of mobility of the same file system between OS X and Windows without the customer knowing it.

Thanks for the reply and help, I really appreciate it.

I party understand what you're saying about using Gparted, but I have already used Mini Partition Tool which extended my bootcamp partition while in Windows. It then asked to restart Windows to finish the extension, which succeeded because I was able to boot back into Windows after the restart and clearly had more space on the partition. After using Windows for awhile, I eventually booted back into OS X and tried to set up my new Seagate external hard drive and installed Paragon, and this is when I noticed my bootcamp partition was missing. So is my Windows bootcamp partition still there? And if I run this command you're telling me, will I be able to boot back into my Windows bootcamp partition? I'm just confused about how this will save me from losing any data on my Windows bootcamp partition.

Edit: By the way, I already uninstalled Paragon.

MPT updated only the MBR, not realizing that the MBR was built on top of the GPT. This creates a discrepancy between the partition that OS X has in the GPT table and the one that MPT modified. These are the two outputs you posted - the gpt and fdisk command outputs show the two different table structures. By using the steps in the link and recreating the MBR with 3 4 5, you overwrote the MBR that MPT had manipulated. This now has the effect of showing both of them in sync.

are now pointing to same location.

After using Windows for awhile, I eventually booted back into OS X and tried to set up my new Seagate external hard drive and installed Paragon, and this is when I noticed my bootcamp partition was missing. So is my Windows bootcamp partition still there?

This added additional complications. Your partition should still be there.

And if I run this command you're telling me, will I be able to boot back into my Windows bootcamp partition? I'm just confused about how this will save me from losing any data on my Windows bootcamp partition.

We are not manipulating any partitions yet. All the commands so far show the contents, but do not modify any partition tables. The following command shows the first block of the NTFS header.

    sudo dd if=/dev/rdisk05 count=1 2>/dev/null | hexdump -C

    4:                  Apple_HFS Other                   62.2 GB    disk0s4

This entry still shows the 62GB GPT entry that was apparently added by MPT to Windows. This is HFS+, so OS X can read-write/verify/update this part. The moment this is touched (as after a reboot), your NTFS header is most likely overwritten.

For some reason, though, I had to only extend the bootcamp partition using 62GB out of the 63GB because for some reason it was telling me I couldn't use it all due to some overlapping error.

This is the first hint of trouble, and this is where any further changes should have been stopped.

Use the down arrow key and highlight the first MS Data entry and press 'P' to list the contents of that partition. If you do not see any familiar Windows files, press Escape (only once) and scroll to the next MS Data and press 'P' to list files.  Subsequent MS Data entries are not very interesting.
