raise to wake problems

raise to wake problems

my iphone 6 is flashing because of the 'raise to wake' function. only thing is, this function should not be on my iphone because it is too old. this function requires 6s and higher. i go to my settings, display &a brightness but there is not toggle to turn 'raise to wake' off. any suggestions for how to turn this off?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1

Hey Matthews22,

I can understand how having your iPhone screen flash would really affect your enjoyment of the phone.

What I would suggest is first making sure you have a backup of your iPhone on either iCloud or your iTunes.

Next i would reset all settings. To do this tap on "Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings"

Resetting all settings will reset your devices settings like Wallpaper, Sounds network settings, and more. It does not remove any of your apps, messages or pictures.

The phone will restart after it resets the settings. See if the issue is still happening.

These steps will resolve the issue most of the time.
