Q: Phone Stuck on Lock Screen

I Have an iphone 5s and after the first iOS 10 update (Installed it a week ago), my phone started being laggy and now I can't access my Home Screen , I can't get past Lock Screen, after I enter my pass code it just gets stuck in that mode and after a minute it refreshes and asks me to enter my Passcode again ?

Did you already try to force restart the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by doing that.

If this does not work, you'll have to restore the phone, using iTunes, follow the steps mentioned in this article:

Yes I have tried that and it hasn't worked yet.

If I restore my phone will I loss all my data on whatsapp and other applications ?

Make sure to have backups made before you start, if you backup in iTunes on your computer, you can also encrypt your backup, to save also your passwords. Don't forget to write down your encryption password in that case.
As far as I know, Whatsapp can be backed up separately, just in case the data is not included in the backup made by iTunes.

That happened to me once. I use iOS System Recovery on iFoneTips and have it fixed. Now, my iPhone 6s is working well.
