Q: My notification center won't show anything

I recently upgraded to an iphone 6s plus.  I used my backup from my other iphone 5s on this phone.  The phone is working fine except my notification center that drops down is not showing anything.  The first day it had my normal notifications and I noticed there was a button that said Clear Out so I pressed it since I read everything I needed.  Ever since then no notifications are showing up on my notification center that drops down.

I went into Settings and I still have all my apps that I want to show me notifications but they aren't working every since I cleared it out.

Anyone else having this issue?

How can I get this to work?

I have an iPhone 6s plus with version 10.0.2.

    Hello embrje,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that you're no longer receiving notifications in the Notification Center. I know notifications can help keep up to date with a variety of apps. I am happy to help.

If you haven't done so already, please restart the iPhone. This can resolve many unexpected behaviors. Follow the steps below:

    1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
    3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the issue persists, reset all settings. This step takes all settings back to default including Wi-Fi networks and passwords, Notifications, Brightness, Wallpaper, Sounds, and removing Touch ID and Apple Pay cards. Even though no content is lost with this step, it's a good idea to back up first. Use the link below to assist with backing up:

Once you've successfully backed up, reset all settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

    Have an amazing day!
