Q: Changing Font Size in Message List

I have the Sierra Operating system installed on my Apple products.  I would like to change the font size in the Message List in Mail.  System Font Regular 12 is the current setting.  I am unable to "Select" it as suggested by Apple.  I am hoping there is a solution.  Thanks very much.

MacBook Air, iOS 10.0.2

You can change all sidebar font sizes here:

Apple Menu/System Preferences/General and then go to "sidebar icon size"  Set to Small, Medium or Large

Note that this will change the sidebar icon size for the whole OS...Finder, Mail, iTunes, etc....

If you use Preview Pane on right, the only option is to use System Preferences > General > Sidebar icon size > (select Small, Medium, Large). <insert a lot of four letter words here>

However if you use Classic view, you can change the list font. Under Viewing, select "use classic layout".

We used to have the ability to change font sizes. It was a sad day when Apple took away our choices.
