Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Sweeks57.

Yes, it is possible to view and respond to iMessages on your iPad, and I’m happy to help you do that. All you have to do is enable iMessage on both your iPad and iPhone in Settings > Messages, and sign in with the same Apple ID there on both devices. You can also add your phone number to iMessage as well so that any iMessages sent to your iPhone will appear on your iPad too. You will find all the steps you need to get everything set up in Add or remove your phone number in iMessage or FaceTime on your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac Follow the steps in the "Set up" section first, and then follow the steps you see in the "Turn your phone number on or off for your iPad or iPod touch" next.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

    Take care.
