Hello Leon Mayeri,
Thanks for asking about your iPhone connecting to iTunes here in the Apple Support Communities. I understand how important it is to have my iPhone working. I am happy to offer some things to check for this.
Since iTunes will not read the device, I recommend you at least attempt to make a backup to iCloud. We want to ensure is that all your data is safe, and iCloud may be the only option to get a backup currently. You can make a in iCloud or iTunes using this article : How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Next, please check these two help articles for assistance with resolving your issues:
1. If iTunes doesn‘t recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
2. Resolve issues between iTunes and third-party security software
Thanks again for checking out the Apple Support Communities. Have a great rest of your day.
