El Capitan will not complete shut down or restart. It closes Finder and does nothing else.
Have to go to log in page and shut down from there.

Thats what i see indeed, but it does not close too when truien to update or install from de app store.
Is that okay too? ( Mac 2008 )
when i want to shut the Mac, after a few seconds it is possible to start Safari again, like a sleep mode.
The rest, like finder: i cannot wake up or activate.
