Q: Updating Apps
My iPhone: Verizon Carrier, Version 10.0.2 , Capacity, 12.06 GB.
The problem is: I have seven pending updates. However, when I click on "UPDATE ALL", the "Sign in to iTunes Store" wants the password from an old Apple ID that shouldn't even be listed.
I have gone to appleid.apple.com, I have spoken with customer support and I have checked with "YouTube" tutorials for help. When I go into iTunes store on my computer everything is correct and when I go to iTunes & App Store on my phone, it is correct. But, when I click on the Blue A icon on the Home page that tells me I have 7 apps, it is using an old ID and wants that password. Why does it not have the new ID listed there? And, why isn't there some direction on how to fix this problem?
I truly don't think I have ever been so exasperated with a phone before, even when I first began with the "smart phone", which was a Samsung Android, I didn't have this trouble.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Because this will be the last iPhone I get, if someone can't help me!!
iPhone 6s, iOS 10.0.2

This could be because one or more of the applications you're attempting to update was downloaded to your iPhone under different Apple ID. Try removing the application from your iPhone and downloading it again.
