Q: Home App Automation Conflict

I've found the new Home app very usefully, especially with the Lutron Caseta switches and lamp controls. My wife and I share control between our iPhones. The problem I'm seeing is we have an automation set to turn off specific lights        " When I Leave",.. actually when either of us leave the house. This function does work but the annoying part is the home app will shut the lights off when my wife or I leave, but if the other person is still at home the lights still go out. The app doesn't recognize that the other person is still in the house. It appears there needs to be an option added to the Automation setting allowing the app to realize that one of the authorized users is still in the designated geofence. Anyone else having this problem? is there an advanced setting that maybe I'm missing to correct this problem?

Apple TV, iOS 10

I have the same issue with the home app but also with the product apps too.  I think it is just a bigger programming issue that has yet to be solved.  My August door lock will auto unlock when my wife and I come home and then re-unlock once it picks up the other phone.  Hopefully a If/Then function can be added to maybe make this work.  I know that if I can get all my various smart products to play nice with my wife it will make "Funding" my smart home a bit easier!
