Q: Why does Logic 9 crash when I click bounce?

Logic Pro 9 keeps crashing when I try to save in macOS Sierra.
Various problems saving and bouncing.. and I don't think there's a fix unless something can be done in the next Sierra update. You either go to a backup or upgrade Logic to X, it's obvious Logic 9 will not be updated.

If it's not a bug, then the issue could be CPU overload. You can freeze all tracks before you bounce, that would help. Another issue could be that you have some input files on a different hard disk (or you disk it too slow). Try copying all input files/assets into your project folder.

Oct 1, 2016 8:59 PMby oingo boingo,One more thought: if Logic crashes straight away then it could be an issue with your Audio Interface. To test, disconnect all external audio equipment and bounce on your "stand alone" Mac. That way you are using the built-in audio driver and that should minimise issues that lead to the crash.

Oct 2, 2016 1:33 AMby Pancenter,HelpfulIt's a Logic 9/Sierra compatibility problem. You have a choice, revert to a backup up, (hopefully you have one) or pray the Logic Gods the next update to Sierra fixes the problem. I wouldn't count on it.
There's been many here with the same problems after upgrading to Sierra. I won't say Apple planned it so you have to upgrade to Logic-X, but it is odd everything works but you can't save.
