Oct 1, 2016 5:27 AM in response to arianitfby BenB,Purchase after the October announcement. If no new iMac announced in October, we won't see one until later next year. Any time you purchase a new computer (any make or model), be assured some newer model will be announced in 8 months. After that new one is released, a newer one is close behind that. Don't try to beat it, just be reasonable. Plan on purchasing whatever the latest is, after the Oct announcement.
