Thank you for your reply Starr.C

The problem is'nt the initial setup, it's after 60 minutes later when it stops recognising my finger print.

    Any ideas?

I have exactly the same issue. My thumb is not dirty....just a regular thumb looking for a functioning feature.

it started giving me trouble when I updated to 10.0.2, I downgraded, and the issue is still here....

    Neil 1952,

Thanks for the followup and additional information.

The article that was shared offers useful information for troubleshooting Touch ID, even after it's been set up. It's important to have clean and dry fingers when using Touch ID even if it's already set up to ensure an accurate reading.
