Twice now have had pop up appear in screen saying 'Apple ID sign in requested' then my email address, then says 'your Apple ID is being used to sign into an iPad near london'. Now bear in mind I am in Yorkshire. It shows a map of London then 'allow' or 'don't allow' button.
After first time changed my password but don't want to keep having to do this. Tried ringing Apple but they couldn't help anyone know why and what I can do.

This just means someone may be using your Apple ID to try and sign in to a device.
If you see ALLOW or NOT ALLOW, that makes it sound legitimate. This is how 2 Step or 2 Factor security works.
If your Apple ID/email address is known, there's not much one can do to prevent the attempts.
SO all I can do is keep selecting disallow? It's annoying as can't change my email address

It's the same as someone calling your phone number. You can block them from connecting, but not trying to connect.
My iPad tells me I'm near London and shows a London map - I'm 400miles from London and in a different country.- Scotland it's quite insulting at best and unnecessarily alarming.
Contact AppleID security. Your account could be compromised.

contacted Apple they wouldn't help. All they said was they needed an authenticity code which I couldn't give as have never set one up. so they said nothing they can do
