Q: Mailbox not working

Since the new iOS download,  I am unable to open my mailbox messages.  I can see that I have messages but I cannot see them when I click on them to open them. Fix please!

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 10.0.2

    Hi there Meow79!

    Thanks for bringing your question about being unable to open your mailbox messages after upgrading to iOS 10 to the Apple Support Communities.  I use Mail and separate folders to organize my incoming mail all the time so I know it's important you be able to access all your folders on your iPhone.  It's my pleasure to help out today.

    My first recommendation is to force the app to close and then try reopening it.

    Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    After you reopen the Mail app, see if it is able to load the mailboxes or folders.  If not, then our next step is to back up your iPhone.

    Then we can try removing and re-adding the accounts.

    1. open the Settings app
    2. go to Mail > Accounts
    3. remove all the accounts for now
    4. add one account and see if it's able to load the mailboxes and folders
    If it works, great, go ahead and add the rest of your mail account

    Thank you for your reply. This does not work. I have been working with Apple support and I have a phone call with them on Tuesday.
