Q: Old email address/account no longer working so old IPod is locked/unaccessible

I have an older IPod touch that was registered to an old email account that I no longer have. I cannot unlock my IPod now as I can't remember the password and when I try to log into the old account on the Apple website to change it,  it says the account is not active. I had downloaded all my old CD's onto it. How do I get access to my music on it?
