Oct 1, 2016 1:56 PM in response to ROBERT MORAN2by ROBERT MORAN2,Further to my problem, toggling enable Siri and show in Menu bar eliminated Spotlight launch and added Siri icon to menu bar but still no Siri with either menu bar, dock icon or keyboard hold Option -Space.

Oct 3, 2016 10:10 AM in response to ROBERT MORAN2by ROBERT MORAN2,Siri has finally appeared, but Sierra on my late 2009 iMac has slowed everything down so much as to make Siri as well as many other functions appear as though someone has poured molasses on my motherboard. I was warned this would happen but I have always been infected with " I've got to have the latest" disease.

Oct 3, 2016 12:45 PM in response to P Rockaby ROBERT MORAN2,As I said above, I can now get Siri to appear but the Sierra OS on my late 2009 iMac has slowed Siri's responsiveness, and most other apps, so much as to be borderline useless.
