Upgrade to iOS 10 freezes my keyboard on iphone6. Have to close the app, reopen to get a couple more keystrokes if that. Sometimes the whole phone freezes. Tried to reset keyboard to no avail. Upgraded latest patch hoping it would work, but no. Now I can't even enter my password. Anyone else having that problem? Any help will be appreciated.

The following steps may resolve erratic device behaviour assuming it isn't actually a hardware issue. They assume that all of the content you want on the device is in your library ready for restoring. If it isn't see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device first. I would also recommend you copy everything out of the camera roll if you haven't already.
Use an encrypted backup if you want to preserve passwords, wi-fi settings, web history and health data where appropriate.

Have you tried a hard reset? (Holding the power and home button at the same time) If so and that didn't solve it you may have a bug and in that case you may need to do an icloud backup and do a factory restore. I hope this helps! 🙂
