Q: Color Mask tools vanishing

After adding a color correction, the View Masks and add-mask button disappear from my color-corrections. No amount of clicking, mouse-waving or cussing makes them appear. I have to restart FCP X for them to re-appear but then if I add a new correct, they go away again.

I'm pretty sure this problem started after upgrading to Mac OS Sierra..

Is anyone else seeing this issue and/or have any idea to fix it?

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.2)

There have been some reports of the show button and sometimes the keyframe buttons disappearing in Sierra. It doesn't seem to happen for everyone. Deleting preferences is always a good idea. If it persists after deleting preferences you should send Apple feedback: Final Cut Pro->Providd Final Cut Pro Feedback...

Same thing here. I'm also freezing up during import, color correction, EVERYTHING every 5-10 minutes or so. It's getting out of hand.

Freezing of the application is not normal and not being seen by most users. Maybe start a new thread with details of your problem.
