Q: Unable to set delay on lock screen in iOS 10

I guess this is a stupid question, but here goes.

I just updated to iOS 10 a couple of days ago.

Previously I had my iPhone set to never time out and go to the lock screen. I prefer to leave the phone on until I'm ready to turn it off.

After the iOS upgrade, the screen begins to fade after a minute or so and if I don't hit some button or other it turns itself off.

Then I have to waste time opening it up, pressing the Home button, inputing my 4 digit code and getting past the iCloud required screen - I don't do iCloud.

Seems like I used to go to Settings > Passcode Lock > and there was a setting for 'Never'. Now the longest setting available is 4 hours, which is what I now have it set for, but it still greys out and then locks after about 1 minute.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

The setting was moved for iOS 10. It is now in Settings/Display and Brightness.

    Thanks Lawrence.

I'm still a little confused, so better to fix my question and close this one.

Once I found the Auto-Lock, it was already - or should I say still - set to Never.

However yesterday, the screen was dimming and then closing after about a minute. The battery was kind of low at the time.

Now that the battery is fully charged, it doesn't seem to be doing that.

Maybe it had something to do with some battery saving feature.

If it happens again, I'll rephrase and open a new question.

If the battery is below 20% the phone will go into an energy conservation mode, so that may be the issue. If the issue recurs try changing the setting for auto-lock, then change it back.
