HDMI / Lightning not working in iOS 10.0.2

Upgraded my iPhone 6 to iOS 10.0.2. Now no image appears on the TV when I connect using my Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter and Apple HDMI cable. However, my wife's iPhone 6s, which was not upgraded to iOS 10.0.2 does work, using the very same adapter and cable, plugged into the very same TV. The upgrade seems to have killed my phones ability to output via the HDMI adapter.
