App will not delete or download

So I downloaded and app from the app store and when it was downloading, I paused it because I had low battery. I then thought i didn't need the app so I deleted it while it was paused. The app will not delete from my home screen and it just says waiting. I have tried clicking the downloading symbol in the app store and have tried restarting...Please help
