Hi all, I've been trying to update my apps on my iPad app, but I'm unable to update any app.
I don't want to lose my privacy and my privacy is my biggest concern.
I keep getting this error whenever I try to update an iPad app through the Apple App Store:
"Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions have changed.
Before you can proceed you must read and accept the new Terms & Conditions"
Would I be losing my privacy by agreeing to this?

Read the terms and see, but generally it's an all or nothing thing....agree to the terms or don't use the service.
Updating the terms and service is common and you have to reagree with every major update.

I don't know if there were any changes. You can read them for yourself and see if you agree to it

Hopefully we'll find out soon. I followed Skydiver's link to Privacy Policy then questions on the privacy policy. Then asked about the loss of privacy.
Any other advice would be appreciated!
Wait until I get a reply from Apple. I doubt much has changed and wouldn't worry too much about it.
I received a reply from Apple Support, but they just said to read the new terms and conditions... It's 17 pages long so it's too much for me to read.
I'm just concerned with any changes to user privacy.

Just as a side note: there is no privacy online. Any website you visit knows what computer and OS version you are using and what general geographic area you live in. If you use social media or divulge your information anywhere online, you have no privacy and someone may hack into that database and steal other people's information.

Hi. If you're concerned about the contents of a contract you're signing, you already know the choices. Read it yourself, or have a trusted surrogate (attorney) read it for you. You should certainly not be asking the internet for its considered judgement on the subject. I personally read through this stuff once and it seemed to concentrate on protecting Apple's proprietary interest in media. Supposedly the latest update is an attempt at simplification...
