Q: Rental movie is "unable to download "

I have rented a movie to watch in a plane. After trying to download for a few minutes I received a pop up box saying "there seems to be a problem downloadinc your video". No matter what I have done since it continues to show the same response. Any ideas?

    Hi MatthewGP131,

I understand you are receiving an error when attempting to download a rented movie in iTunes.  Since I am not sure what troubleshooting steps you have gone through already, let's try going through the following:

    Get more help

If you still can't restart your downloads, try the steps below:

    • Restart your iOS device or computer.
    • If you use Wi-Fi for Internet access, use a different Wi-Fi network when you download. If you connect to a home network, restart your Wi-Fi router. Also, check for and install any firmware updates for your Wi-Fi router. Refer to your router manufacturer's website for information on how to update its firmware.
    • If you're using a Mac or PC, use an Ethernet cable for wired Internet access instead of using Wi-Fi. If the issue persists and you're using iTunes for Windows, learn how to resolve issues between iTunes and security software.

If an iTunes Store purchase unexpectedly stops downloading

Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue, and thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities!

    Cheers.
