Secondly, you need to decide whether colour printing is absolutely necessary. If not, a good choice could be a small monochrome (black & white) laser printer. Such a printer will produce a high-quality printout at a relatively low cost. If colour photo prints are needed, one can send files to a professional photo lab. If necessary, a separate scanner could be connected to the computer.
If colour printing is required, there are many inkjet printer models. The downside is that ink cartridges often do not last long, and they can be expensive. Many inkjet printers are all-in-one models with a built-in scanner/copier.
