Q: How do i transfer videos from my ipad to a jump drive connected to my iMac?

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. We can see from your post that you want to transfer videos from your iPad to a USB drive through your computer. As it turns out, you'll need to import them to the iMac directly first but can transfer them to the drive thereafter. The link below has a guide to help you import them.
