How do I set up my Apple Watch with my iPhone 5S?
The Watch is fully charged.i put on my wrist per Apple's instructions. When I turn it in I select"English". The I get the pairing screen. It tells me to open the Apple Watch app on my iPhone, which I do. Then I select "Start Pairing" on my iPhone. Then I select "Start Pairing"on the Apple Watch. Then the phone app tells me to click the "I" on the watch. I get the "galaxy" graphic on the watch and hold it up to the phone camera and align it with the viewfinder. The pairing starts and then the phone app tells me it is checking for updates - WatchOS3. I click"Update & Install". Enter my 4! phone code and then click "Agree" for T&C's. The Watch face changes to the circle with Apple logo in the middle and writing all the way round. But nothing happens after that. The phone app says "Estimating time remaining", but never changes and I never get an actual time. At the bottom of the app it says "Downloading to watch." But it looks grated out (not white like all of the rest of the text). Below it says "To install the update, make sure your Apple Watch is: Un range of iPhone connected to wifi. Connected to charged. Charged at least 50%" All these are done , but nothing ever happens. If I select check for update later, I just get the Apple logo on the watch and then a blank screen, and nothing else. What am I doing wrong? I have never had an issue setting up any of my Apple products like this before.
