Q: iPhone dead how to access stuff on my iPad ??

HI,

please help.

my iPhone 6 is dead. I wanted To see if I could access photos / contacts etc on My iPad via the iCloud but can't work out how to do this. iCloud Drive looks empty. There is about 6gb used and I can't see what for though shows as recent back up from my iPhone prior to it dying. When I get my replacement phone can I use I cloud to put everything back on it ?? Including contacts etc ??

    If all of your data is stored in iCloud on your dead iPhone, then it should be there regardless of device.  Are you logged into the iPad with your same Apple ID and password that you used to log in on the iPhone?

     

    Or are you trying to access iCloud via the Safari browser on the iPad?
