Numbers offline - check connection

Hi,

I actually had this exact issue and found that the problem was not with iCloud at all but with the browser settings.

Steps to resolve for safari users:

-Go to the safari preferences and under the "Advanced" tab, be sure to leave the "stop plug-ins to save power" unchecked.

-Under the "Privacy" tab be sure to select "Always allow" for Cookies and website data.

-Under the "Security" tab be sure the "Allow plug-ins" box is checked.

These steps completely fixed it for me. Hope it helps!

its all because when you sign in with your icloud account and try to open the numbers apps you just ignore to click on "use icloud" . all what you need to do is to sign out from where do you have that problem and sign in again < now when you try to open the numbers apps "you will recieve a popup msg " use icloud ,,, thats all >

No ideas at the moment, but a couple of questions that may help someone who is more familiar with sharing vial iCloud:

Can you open the iCloud stored copy of the document on your MacBook?

Is this the only document that is showing this behaviour?

Are there other Numbers documents that can be opened without difficulty on all three devices?

Can you open documents made with other applications on the three devices?

More information will help responders understand the issues, and may trigger some solutions.

I had this problem also. I don't know if this solution is kosher, but it worked for me. I made a copy of the file then copied the original spreadsheet to my local drive and then back to iCloud.
