Q: Apple Watch Series 2 Protective Cases

Hi RudeBwoy!

I've got the same problem. As far as I can see, cases or bumpers for the AW series 2 don't exist. I've spoken to Spigen, Catalyst and a couple of others and no matter what 3rd party websites say....the manufacturers confirm that their AW products are NOT compatible with the series 2 watch, and that they are working on it!

Any thoughts on screen protectors though??!! Would they be compatible? Some protection would be better than nothing!

could you summarize the facts why AW S2 is not compatible with AW S1 cases? As far as I know and as far as I could search on the internet the watches are similar from the outside... no?

To clarify, Series 1 does not refer to the original Apple Watch. It instead refers to a new Apple Watch model that has the same internal features as the first generation Apple Watch, except for a faster processor.

Other than the 38mm Apple Watch Series 1, all new watches (42mm Series 1 and all Series 2 models) have slightly different dimensions than Apple Watch (first generation).

I'm using Skinomi's screen protector on my AWS2. Works great, actually adheres to the corners if applied as instructed. Used to use this protector under my Actionproof case on my original Apple Watch, as well.
