Mac Pro 4.1 Bootcamp

Hi Guys,

I've got a Mac Pro (Early 2009) and would like to install Windows 8.1 via Bootcamp.

Here's my problem:

I only have an USB-Drive for Windows and not a DVD... and Bootcamp doesn't show the option to use the USB-Drive...

Is there a possibility to enable the function, so that BootCamp can use the USB-Drive ?

Or is there a way to create a bootable DVD ?

Many Thanks,

Daniel

Please download the appropriate ISO from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/home and burn it to a DVD. Use a wired connection to download, if possible.

The simplest method to burn is to right-click on the ISO and choose Burn, expand the Burn option, enable Verify and Mount after Burn options, and use the lowest rate of burning. Your Optical drive must be fully functional.
