Q: my iMac crashes every 20 minutes or so

Today my email box crashed twice. Right now it is importing, once again all my mail. In the last few days is not working very well. I am trying to delete emails and it does not allow me. Maybe my email inbox is full but for some reason it is difficult to delete by using the "select all" facility. I have to do it one by one.

Also FCPX has crashed in the middle of making a master file.

In the last 3 days the system has crashed 6 o 7 times.

Can anyone help???

You are welcome. I don't see any other installs that normally cause problems. As I posted above, I'm not sure about the Maintain, but since I don't know what it does, if everything else is working, I guess it can stay.

    Try running this program in your normal account , then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.

    Get rid of Trusteer. It doesn’t work well under Mac OS. I'm also not sure about the Maintain software, but start with Trusteer.

    Dear Eric, Is there anything else I should un-install?

    Yesterday even before I deleted the file you suggested, I had no crashes for a few hours. Let's hope it keeps... Many thanks for your help!
