AirPort Utility 6.3.1 not compatible with OS X 10.11.6

Just upgraded to OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 on my MacBook Air and then tried to install AirPort Utility 6.3.1 and when selecting the destination, got the error message, "AirPort Utility can't be installed on this disk. The version of Mac OS X os this volume is not supported."

How do I proceed; go backwards on OS X, or obtain a version of Airport Utility compatible with current OS X?

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), AirPort Time Capsule

The latest version of AirPort Utility is already installed on your Mac as part of the Mac operating system.

Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility and you will see that you already have the latest version of AirPort Utility (6.3.6) installed.

AirPort Utility 6.3.1 would only be installed on your Mac if you were using an older Lion (10.7.x) operating system.
