Configuring my email address on Thunderbird

Hi everybody,

I am using a PC for business purpose (I know it's bad 😊) and would like to configure my email address in a Thunderbird client; I have tried using my email address in mac.com, me.com and icloud.com with my iCloud password but failed the authentication which each combination.

Does it mean that there is a different email password than the iCloud one and if so, where can I find it?

Are you using either 2 Factor Authentication or 2 Step Verification?

They use app specific passwords for some older apps like Thunderbird.

Actually it was due to the 2 factor authentication and I have managed to solde it.
