mac os sierra - javascript error

constantly getting the above message on a particlular website i have regularly watched movies on prior to upgrading to Sierra (from El Capitan). JavaScript is NOT disabled in the browser (Safari 10). i would appreciate any kind help!

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2-OTHER, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 4 GB RAM

i can watch the movies in that website ok with Firefox (with Flash downloaded)


but NOT with Safari 10 (with or without Flash). having uninstalled 3rd apps. etc., i STILL get the error (even with JavaScript enabled in Safari prefs):

With Sierra, we understand that Apple locked out Flash (and apparently with good reason ) so i'm surprised more people are not experiencing the same situation that i am - if indeed this is related to the cause (?)


personally i would still be happier be able to see the items of my choice in Safari without having to bother with Firefox...
