iPad Pro hangs when putting videos full-screen in safari

Hi,

Since the 10.02 update I quite often have my 12" iPad Pro hanging when I put a video full screen in safari. The screen is still on but it just stays black and the iPad becomes unresponsive- it needs a hard reset to get it back to life.

Anyone else have anything similar?

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. After reading your post, I'm understanding that your iPad Pro will sometimes become unresponsive if you attempt to put a video in full screen. I definitely want to help!

To get started, test to see if this happens with all videos, from all sources. Try several online locations, like Facebook, YouTube, Netflix, etc, as well as your iPad's internal camera, and Photos and Videos apps. Make sure you have a strong internet connection when you're viewing the videos. If it happens in all instances on one network, try a different network.

If you continue to have trouble on a different network, I would recommend clearing your Safari history, cookies, and website data. The "Clear information from your device" section of the following article will guide you through how to do that: Safari web settings on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

HI, it's definitely only Safari and I suspects it's network connection-related; we have an Airport Extreme and other devices seem to slow down at the same time (unscientific tests)

HOwever, the fact remains that Safari locks completely and the system requires a hard restart which is the first time I've had an issue like that in iOS.
