Oct 2, 2016 2:11 PM in response to pcbjrby pokey b,How do you define and measure memory use for Firefox? Activity Monitor? I am using Firefox to write this. In Activity Monitor I see Firefox at 347 MB and Firefox Web Content at 259 MB.

Why do you ask, are you having a problem?
I would not try to micro manage RAM usage—let the macOS handle it.
Ever since Mavericks compressed memory is the new way of handling RAM. You can read more:
