Q: iTunes account issues
Hi there,
I have a very old iPod touch (2nd gen) and after misplacing it and finding it years later I really wanted to go through all my old music. However upon starting the iPod up it had been disabled for over 23,000,000 minutes! I decided to restore it and would restore all my old purchases on there. However this is where the problem occurred. When I had that iPod touch I had a different apple ID that I have only just regained access for and I have a different apple ID now as I simply forgot I had that account.
My macbook and iPhone are all linked to my current apple ID meaning I can't seem to transfer my old purchases using my macbook iTunes even logged on to that account onto my iPod. Also I can't get the option to restore purchases on my iPod which was my hope. Although I do have the option to complete albums and shows my items previously purchased as purchased but with no option to download. Also when accessing my old iTunes account on my authorised but not linked macbook it shows the old music and apps in my purchase history but comes up with an error message about the macbook not being associated and waiting 90 days.
I hope there is enough detail here for someone to be able to help thank you!.
