In iOS 10. I keep swiping left to get rid of notifications in my lock screen and getting the camera app instead. Is there any way to turn off the swipe left for camera.

Why waste that sort of emotional energy on something in which you find no value. I have no use for the front facing camera or the ability to tell Siri to "Take a selfie" but I don't hate it. I just forget it exists most of the time.
