Q: Traveling internationally

Question:  I just arrived in Rome and need to make a call to the local hotel.  I turn on roaming.  Do I dial just as if I was in the US or do I not use the country code (Italy, 39)?

Depends on the country/carrier. If you have the dial assist turned on (Setting>>Phone>>dial assist: ON) you should be able to dial it as it is dialed in the country you are in. If that does not work try it as if you are dialing from the US.
