Q: AirPlay photos on Apple TV look too bright

Hi folds,

While all video content comes across just fine on my 4K TV screen, photos are coming across too bright regardless of what device I use as the source (iMac, iPhone, and iPad). Any recommendation for fixing this problem?

Thank you.

You did not specify which generation TV you're using, but it really doesn't matter. I'm not aware of any solution that allows "per app" brightness control. The only source option that you did not list is iCloud Photo Library, but I doubt this would make a difference.

You might just find an acceptable compromise, or use one of the TV set pre-sets (movies, sports, etc) to switch to when displaying photos.

    Thank you, Rysz.

It is a 4th generation Apple TV. The Apple TV Photo app shows the correct brightness. I will just adjust the brightness of my device I am mirroring as a solution.
